In this worksheet called Chart Filter, we've got two charts.…We've got some data below the chart on the left.…Both charts are representing the same data.…And if I click on the chart on the left, you'll see immediately that it's…representing all the data there. And I'll click on this chart on the right.…Also, same thing happens, we're showing the data.…Notice the wording below the charts that I typed in.…The left chart plots visible cells only and thats the norm in Excel.…The chart to the right plots all cells. So what if we were to hide some of the rows?…Maybe we were about to make a presentation, we don't want to show…Indiana and Missori for example. So we click row 21 and with a control key…we click row 23, we right click and Hide. And so we see the chart on the left is…only showing the visible cells. The chart on the right continues to show…all of the information. So first of all how do we control that?…I'm going to click the chart on the right first of all.…
Right- click and then Select Data. And in this dialogue box called Select Source.…
