- [Instructor] Let's talk about the Exam Format and the Time Allotment. As I mentioned earlier, the time allotment for the MOSS program exams is 50 minutes. You should be able to complete the Excel Expert Office 365 and Office 2019 exam in 40 minutes or less. That will give you time to go back and review any tasks that you skipped or ones that you completed that you want to review and make sure that you did them correctly. Microsoft Office Specialist program certification exams use a performance-based format challenging familiarity, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office 365 and Office 2019 programs. The exam task instructions typically do not include the command name, for example, function names in Excel will be avoided, and they'll be replaced with just a description.
