Median: Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1 (2016)
Median: Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1 (2016)

This is an investigation into Median and how it enables you to summarize a set of numbers. Joe Schumueller demonstrates how, like the mean, Median is a measure of the central tendency of a set of numbers. When you arrange a set of numbers in order, the median is the one in the middle. When would you use this? When you have an outlier (extreme value) for two. Outliers throw off the mean, but typically not the median.
