- [Instructor] Excel has a ton of keystroke shortcuts. 2 Most of them involve the control key, 3 but a number of them do involve the alt key. 4 And there's no special significance to using the alt key. 5 It's just that a number of these are not widely known. 6 On some keyboards and particularly on laptops, 7 you might be able to zoom in and out holding down 8 alt control press the minus key to zoom back 9 or the plus key to zoom in. 10 I stress that doesn't work on all keyboards. 11 Auto sum really handy and there's a button for it. 12 On the next worksheet over, if we want a total in G2, 13 we can either press the auto sum button, 14 a lot of you know it's on the right side of the home tab 15 or on the left side of the formulas tab. 16 But we can also press alt equal. 17 And in this situation we'd press enter. 18 And similarly, it works the same with a button 19 or the keystroke shortcut. 20 This data is highlighted. 21 How…
