- [Instructor] If you've upgraded Office 365, 2 in Excel you'll find some additional functions. 3 If you go to the formulas tab in the ribbon 4 and choose the icon text, 5 you'll see there's a new function called CONCAT. 6 Now, some of you might be familiar 7 with a function called concatenate, 8 and you might be wondering, where is it? 9 Well, it's still available 10 even though we don't see this in the list. 11 This new function will ultimately 12 take the place of concatenate. 13 It can do all the things that concatenate can do, 14 plus additional capability as well. 15 Concatenate's a list or range of text strings. 16 Farther down the list, you'll see another function 17 called TEXTJOIN, also new, 18 concatenates a list or a range of text strings 19 using a delimiter. 20 So we've got a worksheet here with a list of names, 21 potentially a huge list, 22 and people have been given IDs. 23 They're still there.…
