- Sometimes when adding many, many rows and columns of data, it's difficult to analyze that data to pick up on trends, for example, and that's where a visual representation of the data can come in handy, but that means creating charts or graphs, and there's a very easy and fast way to do it here in Excel 2016. We're going to explore it now with our Landon Hotels Revenue sheet here for 2014. And we're going to focus on the data for Q1 for the different locations. You can open up our RH_Revenues0207 if you're getting caught up. Now, one thing that could be a problem is any blank rows or columns, when we go to select the content, we want to create the chart from. So let's go to row 6 here, and we'll right-click right on the 6 to delete that empty row. Now, things do look a little bit cramped, so we can go in between 5 and 6 when we see the double arrow. Click and drag down to double up the row height, and then, we'll click right on the 5 so that everything here is centered vertically…
