- In this movie, we need to see the file 'File with Macros.' And as you open this workbook, you will see a security notice, perhaps like one you're seeing on the screen right here, we do want to enable macros. Because macros are sometimes used as a way to introduce viruses into the environment, we want to be careful about the source of the macros. I'll assure you that this file is safe, we do want to enable macros. There will be more about security concerns in another movie in this course. Enable macros, the file is opened. It's not uncommon for people to use macros before they actually create any, and in this workbook, there are some macros, as its name suggests.
