- [Instructor] When you work with functions in Excel, 2 and particularly if you're trying to clean up data, 3 sometimes one function alone is not going to get the job done. 4 And so it's not uncommon to use more than one function. 5 We also, as we use functions inside of functions, 6 refer to the concept of nesting. 7 In this worksheet here, 8 I've got some data in columns A and B, 9 and you can see there's some oddities, 10 some unusual spacings. 11 And also all the data is uppercase. 12 Not truly wrong, 13 but let's say we only want the first letters 14 to be capitalized. 15 So if we were focused only on column A, 16 we might start the process of cleaning this up 17 by typing a function called PROPER. 18 And referring to cell A2, in this case, 19 that's what it would look like. 20 But we also want to combine that with the data in cell B2. 21 And along with it, let's also consider the idea 22 of cleaning up the…
