- [Instructor] By now you're probably feeling like a pro at creating pivot tables, but let's take this step further. I want to talk with you about formatting pivot table data and also how to use the GETPIVOTDATA function. On the Excel 2016 MOS Expert exam you may be asked to format data within a pivot table, also you may be asked to group the information, probably by month, quarter, or year. You may also be asked to insert a calculated field, so we'll look at how to create a simple calculated field that will take our total amount for that product and multiple it times 3.2% just to see what a projected 2017 sales increase would look like. And last, but not least we'll look at the GETPIVOTDATA function. Now all four of these are items that you may be asked to demonstrate your knowledge of on the Excel 2016 MOS Expert exam, so we'll focus on all four of them to get you prepared for the exam.
