To prevent weekend dates (Saturdays and Sundays) from being entered within a range, select the range and use the Data Validation feature found on the Data tab. Select the Custom option and, if dealing with entries in Column Q, select column Q and create a validation formula like this: =AND(WEEKDAY(Q1)<>7,WEEKDAY(Q1)<>1)
