- [Instructor] One challenge that business analysts often face is that when they need to gather data to answer some sort of a question, they're not quite sure where to get that data from. One great resource that I've found is the BEA or Bureau of Economic Analysis. You can access their website @bea.gov. So I'm here on the BEA's website, and I just want to kind of walk through a couple of the notable features when it comes to getting data. So the BEA has data on a variety of different areas, all related to economics, as you might expect. Gross Domestic Product, Consumer Spending, Incomes, et cetera. The nice thing about the BEA data compared to FRED or other data sources is that the BEA gets super granular, you can actually go through and break down GDP, for instance, by different industries, or even sub-industries.
