- [Instructor] Autofill is the feature that fills cells based on existing data. There are also a few Advanced Fill Series options that you should be aware of. After watching this video, you'll know how to complete a list of dates, months, or numbers; complete a list with or without formatting; create linear and growth series; and create a custom list. We have a lot to do so let's jump right in. Here's our Advanced Fill Options workbook. And first I will show you how you can complete a list of months and not copy the formatting. We have January through June. If I click in June and use the Autofill handle, left-click and bring that across, you can see the Help text underneath showing me which month I'm on, there's December. So, when I first let go of my mouse, the formatting has been copied. But if use my Autofill Options menu, I can select Fill Without Formatting. Now notice that I can also just copy the cells,…
