- There are two information functions…that can provide you information about cell content…and about the system you're working with.…Most users probably don't need these.…And if you do need these,…it's a good idea to go to the Formulas tab,…choose Reference, then click the category…for information functions…and consider looking at the CELL function…and also the INFO function.…Here's some information about the CELL function.…And there are different types and values we can use here.…Having a list like this on the screen…at different times could be helpful.…
And you might want to even consider printing this out.…But, the function called CELL…allows us to use different terms like what we see here.…Now, over in cell C1 you see the word FILENAME.…That's one of our options here.…I've also got FORMAT in there in two occasions, too.…So, you might want to come out here and look at this…a bit before using these functions.…Format values down here will be used…if we use the format option.…And as I scroll through this list,…it gives us information about an operating environment.…
