- [Instructor] On this worksheet, 2 we're seeing an HR type of list. 3 It is about 750 rows. 4 The columns are a bit narrower, 5 so the headings look a little bit clipped. 6 We're doing that for space reasons. 7 What we want to show you here 8 is a quick way to extract data from this 9 based on certain criteria 10 and it's going to be faster and easier than a Filter, 11 but it will be using a new function called Filter. 12 And you will not have availability of this function 13 unless you have Office 365 14 with the latest upgrades. 15 Here's what we'd like to be able to do 16 and we're working with a building site manager who says, 17 "I want to be able to type in 18 a building name here in cell K2 19 and then see a list to the right, 20 maybe out here, 21 of just the people in that building." 22 And maybe eventually, I'd like to see not only their names 23 but also the building and the department to the right too…
