- [Instructor] When you're copying and pasting data, … sometimes you need to rely on special features. … And many times these are found … in the dialog box called Paste Special … and a quick way to get there is Control + Alt + V. … on this first worksheet called Skip Blanks, … I've got some data in column A. … I want to put that data in the column B … and I got about 10 entries here. … And rather than doing this one by one, … in other words, copying this A1 into B1 … and then A9 into B9, … why not just take all of these? … Let's copy them with control + C. … Now, if I do a simple paste in B1 using Control + V, … I wipe out the numbers that had been there in column B, … and I don't want to do that. … So undo that with Control + Z. … So the data has been copied. … Now I'm going to go to cell B1 … and activate Paste Special, Control + Alt + V. … And what do I want to do? … I don't want to be copying the data from A2, A3, … there's actually nothing there, those are blanks. … So what do I want to do in the Paste Special Dialog Box? …
