- [Instructor] When you're copying and pasting data, 2 sometimes you need to rely on special features. 3 And many times these are found 4 in the dialogue box called paste special. 5 And a quick way to get there is Control + Alt + V. 6 On this first worksheet called skip blanks, 7 I've got some data in column A. 8 I want to put that data into column B, 9 and I got about 10 entries here. 10 And rather than doing this one by one, 11 in other words, copying this A1 into B1 12 and then A9 into the B9, 13 why not just take all of these? 14 Let's copy them with Control + C. 15 Now if I do a simple paste in B1 using Control + V, 16 I wipe out the numbers that had been there in column B, 17 and I don't want to do that. 18 So I'll undo that with Control + Z. 19 So the data's been copied. 20 Now I'm going to go to cell B1 21 and activate paste special, Control + Alt + V. 22 And what do I want to do? 23 I don't want to be…
