Expand/collapse ribbon and fullscreen views: Excel 2016: Tips and Tricks

To collapse the icon portion of the ribbon (leaving just the ribbon tabs visible), press Ctrl+F1. Press Ctrl+F1 again to return the screen to normal view. To collapse the entire ribbon (removing the tabs and the icons), press Ctrl+Shift+F1. Press the same keystroke combination again to return to normal
