- You know, the thing about statistics is that you could go around all day analyzing data, digging and probing into the nuances of your research questions. In fact, there's so much to learn, I had to make a part two of my Statistics Essential Training course. Hello again, I'm Joseph Schmuller. Welcome to the continuation of your data analysis journey. If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend that you watch part one of this course. Now in part two, you'll learn even more about how to use Excel's tools and techniques to perform statistical analyses. I'll start by giving you a refresher on how to use Excel's statistical functions. We'll look at some statistics-related features like 3D maps for show-stopping presentations and one-click forecasting for making predictions from historical data. I'll also show you how to use Excel's new Ideas tool to help you find insights in your data. I'll show you how to use Excel's analysis tool pack to perform analysis of variance and compare and contrast multiple groups. You'll also learn how to use linear, non-linear, and multiple regression to analyze relationships among variables and to make predictions. My objective is that you have a firm understanding of statistical concepts and how to implement them in Excel. This will help you in statistics-related courses in school or in a job that requires a background in analytics. So what's the holdup? Let's dive right in and continue our journey.
