- [Jess] The heart of Excel is using built-in functions, and making your own formulas, to solve your business problems. But, it can be time consuming, as well as quite overwhelming, to know where to start, and how to begin applying a function to a particular problem. The data I'll be using is simple and easy to follow, but all real scenarios, to give you an idea of how you can use the same function to solve your problem. I'll even show you how to use functions within other functions, to expand on more real world uses for them, as some functions that may seem a little boring, may become really powerful, when coupled with another one. My name is Jess Stratton. I'm a LinkedIn Learning staff instructor, and I'm so excited to show you what these functions and formulas can really do.
