Duplicate a query: Recycling
From the course: Excel Power Query Tips and Techniques
Duplicate a query: Recycling
- [Instructor] Duplicating a query is a very handy thing to know. In this case, we have this contractor's query and we would like a different version of this data, but we realize, wait a minute, I have that right here. This is what I want but I also want this. So what I can do, go over here, Contractors, right click, Duplicate. Next, I'm going to go to Merge Queries, right click, Delete Until End, Delete. And by duplicating the query, I was able to get what I wanted without having to write that whole query from scratch.
