- [Dennis] On this worksheet called DateTimeControl, we've got a list of orders in columns A and B. It goes down about 200 rows, all the orders that we've had for the year 2016. Now, let's imagine our record keeping has been a little poor. We've got information on different sheets of paper. We're trying to put in the shipping dates here from different sources. We want to make sure that all of our shipping dates are valid. In one sense, that they must be within the year 2016 but also, and maybe not so obvious, we want to keep out typos that, for example, put in a 31st day in a month that doesn't have 31 days. We want to make sure these are valid date entries. Let's select column C. On the Data tab, choose Data Validation. Allow Date. Now immediately we see the prompt Between certain days. Now let's say that we must make sure that they're all within the same year. Let's put in a starting date. And since our first order is on the 11th of January, let's just make that be the starting…
