- [Instructor] On the Excel 2016 Expert exam, you may be asked to answer a question using CUBE functions to find the best selling product sold across all regions. In this video, we will learn about two CUBE functions that I believe will help you answer that question. First, we'll look at CUBESET. CUBESET will pull a subset of information from our data model. Which we will then nest into our CUBERANKEDMEMBER function to find out who our top salesperson was for January. We're working with the 04_10 CUBE functions work book. I have it open so let's jump right in. On the 2018 January commission work sheet, we have our data that's been converted into a table and we also have a pivot table. Notice that the pivot table fields is displaying four different tables. This is our data model and the reason that these are part of our data model is they have relationships created between them.
