- [Instructor] On this worksheet are two sets 2 of identical data. 3 I'm going to be creating a chart from each of them, 4 but for the second set of data, starting in row 12, 5 I will first convert that into a table. 6 If you base a chart on a table, 7 whenever the table expands, the chart expands automatically. 8 But in the first case up here, I'll simply create a chart 9 without having converted the data to a table. 10 Because the information is surrounded by empty cells, 11 we don't even have to highlight the data, 12 we can simply click within it 13 and instantly create a chart 14 with the keystroke combination Alt+F1. 15 And that F1, of course, means the function key F1. 16 Alt+F1.
