- [Instructor] If you update a file frequently, 2 perhaps weekly or monthly, you might want to consider 3 the concept of a template. 4 This file that I have open, 5 which is called 61 Excel template, is only a temporary name. 6 Let's imagine I'm going to be using it every month 7 and I've just used it for the month of January. 8 All the data is in place. I've got a nice chart. 9 I will save this, probably giving it a name, 10 reflecting the data. 11 I'll go to the file tab 12 and I'll go to the file tab in the ribbon, save as, 13 and I'll simply call it, for example, January sales 14 or Jan Sales 2016. 15 So I finished that. 16 February comes along, I've got my February data in place. 17 I will open this file. Imagine that I've opened it. 18 Remember it's called Jan Sales 2016. 19 First thing I'll do probably is get rid 20 of the date over here and I'll change this to be February. 21 It's the same year. 22 I'll…
