- [Instructor] When you work with large lists, sometimes you need to get summary data out of those lists; and certainly one approach, if you're working with this list which is about 750 rows, is to go to the Data tab and work with the subtotal capability. But sometimes it's gonna be more direct to work with actual functions in Excel; and as I scroll to the right in this particular worksheet here, you'll notice over in column N, the functions that I'm about to talk about, a family of functions. And by the way, the last two that you see here are MAXIFS and MINIFS might not be available on your version of Excel. They've been added recently, and you will only see these if you have Office 365 installed and you've installed the latest updates as well.
