Create a new workbook
- [Instructor] It's time now to launch Microsoft Excel 2019 and get comfortable in your surroundings. If you're following along with me, go ahead and launch the app. What you're going to see is the start screen, similar to what I'm looking at. It's broken up into two sides. On the left side is where we go to open up existing workbooks. We can browse around for them by clicking the link Open Other Workbooks. You can be looking through your hard drive, network drives, anything that's connected, even the cloud from here. And if you've been working with Excel already, you're probably looking at a list of recent workbooks that you've been working with, and you can get back to them quickly from this list. If you're starting fresh like me, there's nothing there until you start creating and saving workbooks. That's what the other half of this screen is for, creating.
