- [Instructor] When you're trying 2 to create a series of dates in Excel, 3 sometimes the process is simple and straightforward. 4 On this particular worksheet, 5 I've got a calendar displayed over in columns A through H. 6 That's not a prerequisite for what we're about to do, 7 but it's handy to have a calendar nearby, 8 either on the screen or certainly on paper nearby. 9 I simply want to create, starting here, 10 a series that shows all the Tuesdays beginning in 2017. 11 Now, we could begin anywhere we want, 12 but the first Tuesday of 2017 is January 3rd. 13 If we simply want a list here of every Tuesday, 14 I could write a formula here that adds 7 to that 15 and copy down the column. 16 But even easier is to simply type in that second Tuesday, 17 that's the 10th, highlight both of these, 18 and that's a seven-day interval, and drag down the column. 19 If we want to do the whole year, that's about 52 rows or so. 20…
