Create in-cell bar charts with conditional formatting
- [Narrator] On this worksheet called conditional formatting bars, we've got some data in columns A, B, and C. And instead of simply showing the numbers we might want to accompany that data in column C with some horizontal bars that reflect these numbers. We could have the bars overlapping the numbers, we could have them in place the numbers, or we could simply put them in a separate column. Let's select column C, and use the feature called conditional formatting. And lots of different choices here as to how we can show data in a more visual way. The feature were about to look at is called Data Bars, there are 12 options. The first 6 of these, you can see immediately as I dragged over one of the icons, it's what's called a gradient fill. The color fades to the right, also the colors do overlap the HAR numbers that could be okay. We've got 6 more entries, these are solid fill. Some of these might obscure the numbers…
