- One issue that Excel VBA developers always face, is how to allow user input. If you give users direct access to the workbooks and worksheets, then they can change data that perhaps they're not supposed to. Or they could see data that is confidential. In this movie, I will start to show you how to create and use user forms, which allow user input but without direct access to worksheets. for this movie I will use the sample file named O6O1 create user form. And that is a macro enabled workbook that you can find in the chapter six folder of the exercise files collection. This workbook contains a single worksheet. We're actually not going to use any data on it. So I'll press alt F11 to move directly to the visual basic editor. I don't have any code modules set up.
