Create PivotTables in just a few clicks

- [Narrator] Is it really possible to create pivot tables in just a few clicks, I hear you ask. Well, assuming that your data is ready to go, then yep, it certainly is. Check this out. You're looking at a completed employee dataset for a fictitious medium-sized business. Without doing anything else, go ahead and click on insert and then pivot tables. You'll notice that the table that we created earlier called staff data has been suggested as the data source. This is perfect. Make sure that new worksheet is selected, and then click on okay. Voila! The backbone of a pivot table has just been created. Let's quickly rename the tab to something a little bit more meaningful, such as, say pivot, and then click on okay. All we need to do now, is drag and drop the fields of interest on the right, to the areas that appear to the right of them. I'm going to drag employment type into rows and then FTE into the value section.…
