- [Instructor] In this video, we'll learn how to create, modify, and filter pivot tables. First, we'll create a simple pivot table and then I'll show you how to modify your field selections and change them from rows to columns to values to filters. Next, I'll show you some additional display options you have available to you, and we'll learn how to insert slicers to filter our information. We're working with the 05_02 PivotTable and Slicers exercise file. Let's go ahead and get started. I'm going to start with the January 2018 invoices. This data has been converted into a table. I'll click on the Table Tools Design tab so you can see the table name is Invoices. Let's go to our Insert tab. I've clicked down in the table. And I have two options. I can look at the recommended pivot tables and see if there are any layouts that I want to go ahead and select.
