Copying, coloring, and naming tabs

(funky music) - We've got data and a spreadsheet, and we've got stuff to do with this data. We can dive in and get ourselves caught up in a fix. No, stop, back up, I'm going to show you some tips, on how to keep yourself organized. (whooshing) We've got three sets of data, a bunch of columns, and the columns aren't lined up. We got Last Name for this first section. We got Favorite Fish in the same column, but Favorite Fish, well it's just crazy. And we got to clean this up. Don't start cleaning this up yet. First tip, I'm going to highlight this tab. Right click it. Move or Copy, I want to copy it. And yeah, it can go before sheet one, Okay. Why did I do that? Because once I start cleaning it up, if I make a mess or delete something and can't get it back, I can always get back to my raw data. So that's what I'm going to do here. I'm going to double click this tab, call it RAW, and then click away from it, then go back to it. Right click, Tab Color, I'm going to color it red…
