- [Instructor] You can copy and Excel chart into … a Word Document or into a PowerPoint presentation. … And you can do it in a number of different ways. … One thought is, this data might be static, … it's never going to change any more, we can copy and paste … one of these charts as if it were a picture. … As if we're taking a photograph of it, … we'll take the photograph and paste it into Word. … Regardless of any changes that we could've made later … might make later, will not affect what we've pasted, … it's if we've pasted a photograph. … In a more dynamic environment you might say, … could I copy a chart here, paste it into Word … or PowerPoint and if the data gets changed, … my chart gets updated, will it update in those … two files, you can also copy paste a chart that way. … I've got PowerPoint and Word both open in the background … here and I want to have this chart below the data … copied into, perhaps each of those. … And we'll show you some of the different approaches … we can take. …
