Let's see what happens when I copy the formula in cell B8…and paste it into cell E8.…I have cell B8 currently selected,…I will press cmd + c to copy it,…I'll click cell E8…and then I'll press cmd + v to paste.…And you see I get a zero…which in this format is simply a hyphen.…If we take a look at the formula bar at the top,…we can see that the formula's now =SUM(E2:E7).…
I'ts trying to find the sum of these cells…and we can see what happened.…The formula in cell B8 is the sum of B2 to B7…and the references are written so that they can change…
