(upbeat music) - [Narrator] The best way to improve your problem solving skills is to practice. In this movie, I'll describe a transportation problem that you can solve using the skills that you learned in chapter one of this course. Our scenario deals with Ginny's biscuits, and it is a biscuit baker in Mount Crawford, Virginia, USA. Ginny has three bakeries in the greater Mount Crawford area, and her goal is to find the lowest cost solution to meet the demand of her customers. She has three bakeries located in Harrisonburg, Dayton and Mount Crawford and her customers are located around the area, you can see them there as the orange dots. So her goals are to first plan, review the techniques taught in chapter one if you're unsure how to proceed. Next practice, and that is to create the worksheet and solver model on your own.
