Building a basic form on Excel tables
- [Instructor] If you work with an Excel solution, you know that something as simple as a name change can almost start the whole process over again. Right now, people are manually entering information into Excel sheets, maybe sending it to someone else. We could all benefit from some simple data entry forms. That way when the data is changed, everywhere is up to date. Let's take a look. OK, let's go ahead and choose department list names. We want to create a form that will allow us to keep this department list up to date. I'll go to create. I'm going to use the form wizard for this example. It defaults to department list names but I could change it to any table or query. I'm going to add all the fields. I'll choose next. I can choose any of the formats, but for this example, we'll use columnar. I'll choose next. If I wanted to change the title of the form, I could do that now. We'll just keep the default.
