- [Instructor] There are two formatting features in Excel 2 that sometimes are mistakenly used interchangeably. 3 One's called borders, one's called grid lines. 4 Most Excel users when they work with the data, 5 have grid lines on the worksheet. 6 That's the default setting in Excel. 7 There's a border around this merged cell up top. 8 That's a little bit different. 9 On the worksheet to the left here, 10 there are no grid lines showing at all, 11 but there are border features in effect 12 in a number of different locations. 13 I want to go back to that other worksheet first. 14 Suppose I wanted to print this. 15 I'm going to press Control + P. 16 I'll get a quick print preview here. 17 Now as I see this, I could be thinking, 18 well, where are those lines that I saw 19 as I've been working with the data? 20 I don't see them here. 21 I guess I have to add them. 22 So press escape. 23 Let's go back into Excel and…
