- [Instructor] Anytime you're trying to create 2 a series of dates or times, 3 there are numerous shortcuts in Excel 4 that are going to help. 5 On this worksheet, let's say in column A, 6 we're about to put in a Daily Report. 7 We want to be recording data for each day of the year, 8 starting January 2nd. 9 With a date entry, 10 if you click that cell 11 and point to its lower right-hand corner, 12 that's the fill handle. 13 If you drag downward, 14 you're going to be getting next day, next day, next day. 15 So if we want to do this for the year, 16 we'll drag it down to about row 365, somewhere in there. 17 If we drag a bit too far, that's okay, 18 we can chop off the end 19 if we only want to do this for the current year, 20 which would be 2017. 21 So down there, a bit more than we need, we see that. 22 We'll get rid of those. 23 So anytime you drag a date entry downward or rightward, 24 you get the next day, I'll…
