- [Instructor] Excel has a number of auditing tools 2 that let you figure out what's going on in a worksheet. 3 A financial worksheet like this could be somewhat complex. 4 Actually, this worksheet is not well-structured. 5 Maybe the person who was designing it 6 didn't quite finish it. 7 It's difficult to figure out what's going on. 8 It's certainly going to be helpful to find formulas. 9 You can do that quickly and easily 10 by going to the formulas tab 11 and clicking the option show formulas. 12 As you click it, notice what happens. 13 All column widths have been doubled, 14 but more important is the idea 15 that you are seeing formulas wherever they exist. 16 For example, here in cell B7. 17 Now the idea behind doubling the width of the columns 18 is to give you a better opportunity 19 to potentially see the entire formula. 20 Some of these formulas are even wider 21 than the actual column anyway. 22 What you…
