- [Instructor] Excel's conditional formatting feature 2 found on the home tab of the ribbon 3 is a great tool for highlighting data, 4 making data stand out based on its value. 5 In this worksheet of some 900 rows of transaction data, 6 we'd like, for example, column F data 7 when it exceeds 12 to stand out 8 a little bit more prominently. 9 We might also consider what's in column G as well. 10 Let's first focus on the idea 11 that we want to make a change in column F 12 so that any number that's 12 or more is going to stand out 13 with a color background or possibly some shading, 14 other kinds of formatting features we could choose as well. 15 I'm going to select column F, 16 and then from the home tab, choose conditional formatting. 17 This is a rich feature which gives us lots of capabilities 18 and lots of rules, and we can also set up new rules as well. 19 I'm going to start with a simple idea 20 that we simply…
