Join Dennis Taylor for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding pictures as worksheet backgrounds, part of Excel Tips Weekly.
- We're viewing a worksheet…that has a background image on it.…There are tons of different background images…you might consider using here.…These will only display on the screen.…You cannot print these.…The problem is, too, as you zoom in and out,…you'll see that sometimes that the way…these are being displayed might surprise you.…They seem to have a mind of their own.…If I start to scroll up and down, you'll see how the image…gets repeated as well.…These are probably best used…in certain kinds of presentations.…You want to be able to see through the image too,…to see the numbers, if you're going to be talking…about the numbers in any detail.…On the Page Layout tab you'll see the option.…
Now since I have one present, we see Delete Background,…but if I click that, of course, it simply says Background.…Look at the description.…Choose a picture for your background…and add some personality to your worksheet.…So how do we add one?…Simply click this option.…If you've got a file on one of your drives,…you can certainly go find it that way.…
