- [Instructor] Excel has a number of visual tools 2 that you can use. 3 Sometimes you might want to insert text into shapes. 4 You might want to connect arrows to certain cells 5 and worksheets or in column charts 6 the way we're seeing here. 7 This is simply a visual to bring out some of the data. 8 Now, there are lots of choices here and tons of options, 9 starting with the insert tab in the ribbon. 10 You'll see a little icon just to the right 11 of online pictures. 12 It refers to shapes.
