- Often when you view a chart in Excel,…it's near the data, the source data.…For example, on this sheet called YearData,…we're looking at the chart to the right.…We can see the data very close by,…and in this worksheet there's a chart below,…and there's another chart even below that, a pie chart.…There could be situations though,…when either you have multiple charts on a sheet or,…perhaps you've got a chart on on a separate sheet…where you want to show the data in the chart itself.…I've got another chart over here to the right,…pretty much looking the same as…the one that we see to the left of it.…
But what if I'm going to make a change?…Or maybe I'll turn it into a stacked column chart…or a stacked bar chart?…We can also include the data by way of an option…on the chart layout tab called Data Table.…I'll simply make the option here.…This will be applied to the chart to the right.…Look what happens. Now it's a bit crowded,…but you can imagine possibly printing that by itself.…In other words, without showing the worksheet grid lines,…
