- [Voiceover] One of the fundamental questions…you can ask about your business…is whether you have enough hands on deck.…In other words, whether you have enough workers…attending to a particular task.…In this movie, I will show you how to change your simulation…so that you can add additional capacity…to individual stations.…My sample file is the chapter 0502 sample workbook.…That's a macro enabled file that you can find…in the chapter five folder of the exercise files collection.…
I do want to point out one change…that I have made to the sim setup worksheet,…and that is that I added a column…to the station information area.…It's called capacity.…And you can see the station one can handle two customers,…station two can handle one customer at a time.…So, that hasn't changed.…But station three can handle two.…Those two stations have the largest mean processing time.…So, perhaps a manager thought that…adding an additional employee to each of those two stations…would help with customer flow.…
