- You can add shapes, arrows, and lines…to charts and or to worksheets.…You can begin by either clicking a chart,…and on the Format tab on the ribbon,…you'll see some choices off to the left under Insert Shapes.…There's a drop arrow here.…We see tons of options: basic shapes, block arrows,…equations, flowcharts, and so on.…Also some lines up at the top here.…I'm going to click the arrow, single arrow,…and simply drag it perhaps to the highest entry over there…to the right.…Line isn't too visible, but we see what happens.…
A contextual tab appears on the ribbon called Format.…Here's some choices here.…We could make it be thicker.…I certainly wouldn't make it blue in the example,…but black would turn up nicely there.…There we are.…Possibly we might want to connect this to the cell…that it actually is being reflected through.…Domestic right there, something like that, we could do that.…We can also, by choosing these lines,…come back and choose some different effects here,…Shape Outline, Shape Effects, and we can come back…
