- [Instructor] When you work with charts, 2 you quickly discover there seem to be an unending number 3 of formatting options. 4 On this worksheet here called Gap Width, 5 we're going to take a look at one of these options. 6 This data here is surrounded by empty cells 7 and worksheet boundaries, 8 so we don't even need to highlight it. 9 Simply click within it, 10 and then to get a chart immediately, 11 alt + F1, using the function key F1. 12 There it is, a chart. 13 That's the default chart type in Excel, 14 a clustered column chart. 15 I'm going to make it larger 16 by dragging that lower right hand corner fill handle. 17 And by the way, when you do this, 18 if you want to keep the same ratio of height to width, 19 that's called the aspect ratio. 20 Hold down the shift key as you do that, 21 and be sure to let go of the mouse first 22 if you want to keep that ratio. 23 Now that could be perfectly fine. 24 That…
