Use shortcuts when editing cell content: Excel for Mac 2016 Tips and Tricks

Edit a cell by double-clicking it near the point where you need to make a change. For longer text cells, press the Fn key with left or right arrow to move quickly to the beginning or end of the edit line. Double click a word during edit and apply formatting (Bold, Italic, Font Color, etc.) just for the selected word.
