SUMIF and COUNTIF and related functions

- [Instructor] We're looking at a worksheet called COUNTIF-SUMIF in the Chapter Six file. Count If and Sum If are two of six different functions all interrelated, similar in structure. Three of them, count if, sum if, and average if, and their plural counterparts, count ifs, sum ifs, and average ifs. As we're looking at this list, question might occur, or we're scrolling up and down, perhaps, looking at it. One of these departments catches our eye. How about Logistics here, that's interesting. How many people are there, I wonder, or how many people are in Operations? The count if function can be used pretty simply and directly to answer the question, as we're about to answer it here, how many people are in Logistics? =countif begins with the location that we're looking at, where are we finding, or where would we find these departments?
