Numeric filters
- [Instructor] We're viewing a worksheet called numeric filter in our chapter two file. And let's say that we're interested in focusing on the data in either column H and or column J. Let's say we want to show in this list, just the people who have been here over a certain number of years, fewer than so many years, or maybe between a certain range. Suppose we say let's view the people who have been here the longest, those who have been here over 15 years. Activating filter, let's go to the data tab. Choose filter. The arrow for column H. Now one option here could be to use various checks and unchecks to only see those and we certainly could do this, only see those that are 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, along those lines. Probably a better way to do this, is by way of the options that we see here next to, probably says choose one, although it could vary. How about greater than. So if we want to see all of those greater than 15, we'll simply put in the number 15 here. And in the background, we…
