Select a range of cells (or the entire worksheet) and use Conditional Formatting on the Home tab to apply formatting based on a formula rule. The formula =MOD(ROW(),5)=0 will be true only when a row number is evenly divisible by five. Define a format that applies a light color background to cells where the formula is true.
