(MUSIC). Hi, I'm Ted Locascio. I'm a professional graphic designer, author and educator. For several years, I've been teaching graphic designers, photographers, and photo enthusiasts how to improve their images. And to create dynamic photo projects using the Adobe Photoshop family of products. Throughout this course, I'll share my experience using Photoshop Elements 9 to combine images and to create unique photo projects.
The chapters are set up in a typical Elements workflow. That includes importing, sorting, resizing and combining your photos into photo projects. I'll start out by showing you how to import, preview, and sort the exercise files that I've provided for you. In the later chapters, I'll show you how to make difficult selections quickly and easily and explain how to re-size your images properly using the Image Size dialog box. I'll also show you how to harness the true power of Elements by working with layers, adjustment layers, clipping masks, and layer masks. In the final chapter, I'll explain how to apply everything you've learned by creating some example compositing projects from scratch. I've enjoyed creating these lessons for you.
And by the end of this of course, I hope that you've learned the essential compositing skills in Photoshop Elements. And have inspired you to create dynamic projects of your own.
